- Ludwig van Beethoven Quotes-

Ludwig van Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven
A German composer of classical music, who became one of the greatest and most radical composers of all time. Many believe he is the greatest composer of all times. His family members were royal-court musicians in Cologne. Before the age of 12, Beethoven published his first work. A genius, who went deaf in later years of his life. He could never hear his final works. His nine symphones are probably his greatest achievement, each one an unrivalved masterpiece, but he also wrote 5 piano concertos, piano sonatas, string quartets and one opera, Fidelio.
(1770 – 1827)

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
German poet, novelist, playwright, courtier, and natural philosopher, one of the greatest figures in Western literature. His most famous work is the poetic, alchemical drama in two parts, "Faust". Like the famous character of this poem, Goethe was interested in alchemy. He also made important discoveries in connection with plant and animal life, and evolved a non-Newtonian and unorthodox theory of the character of light and color. He is considered one of the greatest contributors of the German Romantic period. (1749-1832)
